8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 No Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, StatusNet and its officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with your use of the Platform or these Terms.

8.2 Total Liability: In no event shall StatusNet's total liability to you for all claims, whether in contract, tort, or otherwise, exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Platform during the three (3) months preceding the claim.
